Fabric panels glued ultrasonically
The acrylic fabric is manufactured in panels of about 120 cm width. The overlaps and 4 cm side seams are glued ultrasonically. Our standard bottom hem is applied to the fabric. If the projection exceeds 200 cm, then a pocket sleeve* is advised to the upper side. (*also see pocket sleeve).

The team of Hylas uses various techniques, such as cutting, gluing and stitching of the fabric. Gluing in particular offers a number of benefits:
- No color difference thanks to the absence of threads
- No leakage at the seams
- No wear and tear of threads
- Reduced ‘waffle' formation
- Better connections
- Smoother fabric
